Bars We Love: Charmaine's Rooftop Bar & Lounge

Maybe it's because when I think of San Francisco, I either think of the small oyster bar that Anthony Bourdain made even more famous or the big record store with zero windows on the hill. I have been to both multiple times and can walk there day or night, but as I am writing this post, I can't think of either of their names.

Regardless, I don't think of slick hotels, rooftops, and vibes when I think of SF. But then I stumbled on the Proper Hotel, and Charmaine's opened a swanky rooftop bar with indoor and outdoor seating, plants adorning the whole layout, and fan-favorite fire pit seating. I travel a ton, but I am not sure I stay as a hotel because of the decor, the rooftop, the restaurant more than I select to stay at the Proper Hotel.

As I am writing this post, I am looking through the cocktail menu in preparation for my first order, and I can't help wonder what 'The Lovecast' with Blanco Tequila, Mezcal Union, Select Aperitivo, Strawberry, Lemon, Cinnamon is going to taste like and I am on a mission to find out.

Sat: 4pm – 12am*
Sun: 11am – 11pm

*Please note for all evening reservations, a minimum food & beverage spend of $50 per person is required for parties of 3 or more. There is no minimum spend for Hotel Guests required.
